We Have Lift-off
Today’s the day. We’re releasing OpenPanel 1.0. The project has gone through a lot of changes, in terms of both code and focus. The target audience we have in mind for the 1.0 release is owners of dedicated and virtual servers with limited but specific needs for hosting websites and managing email. This release focuses on Debian 5, we will be adding back packaging for RPM-based distros in one of the following releases.
Go ahead and try it out. We also welcome you to take part in our community, be it either by helping out other people managing their servers through OpenPanel, or by participating in the development of OpenPanel itself, or new modules that add more management options.
To give OpenPanel a shot, grab the packages and get started. We welcome your feedback via Twitter, IRC (irc.oftc.net, #openpanel) and our forum. If you find actual bugs (there are bound to be a few!) please report them via our bugtracker.
For now, it’s party time. Everybody in the OpenPanel team is ready to get hammered:

The roof.. The roof..

The roof is on fire!

Bravo. Openpanel is AMAZING compared to the alternatives.. It’s the only usable one I see that I can let my friends use.
